I went swimming yesterday and while I was doing my usual 100 squats in the shallow side of the pool, a young lady walked up to me and asked with a smile, ‘can I join you?’ and I said ‘yes, why not?’
Apparently, she was a newbie and she thought…
You probably know the peaches in Georgia because Justin Bieber made music with them. What you might not know is, Georgia is one of four places with great peaches in the US. California, South Carolina and New Jersey all have peaches just as great, maybe better. Actually, China has the…
Apple Music or Spotify?
This question leads to a conversation with Effiong Samuel. Here’s my WhatsApp chat with Sam.
Sam: Quick question. Can preference be created and destroyed?
Sam: I believe this is a designer biggest dream and nightmare
Sam: If you check it, we don’t really have a preference…
We sometimes find ourselves in times when we have to rush because we didn’t do something when we should have.
The right time is when the activity is due, without any pressure. So, you could iron a dress, one night before to avoid congestion of activities the following morning.
Ship the report, do the research, develop the idea, write the song at the right time, regardless of how you feel.
The next time you have so much to do in such little time, pick a pen and write out the activities and when you should have done them and you’d find that, you might be creating your own congestion,
Avoid rush hours by doing things at the right time. Creating a schedule can help a great deal.
Easy to complex. That’s how it should go.

Color codes help to keep design consistent across many applications.
The idea of this text is not about colors, it’s a question of how well you pay attention to details.
When you pay attention to details and document them in codes (of any sort), like a code of conduct, you achieve consistency and excellence.
When you pay attention to details, when you prioritize specific over general, you are close to perfect.
It’s an attitude for greatness
My friend Ivie texts me today and we’re having a conversation about the recent deaths and how there are some big names there.
Should we be scared? Well, that depends.
Should we keep working so hard, knowing that something might just happen and… ? That depends too.
The reason their…
This is true in most countries, red means stop. And if you drive by a traffic light that glows red, chances are, you will get caught by the police and it’ll cost you something.
Why should it cost you? You most likely did not cause any damage, but it doesn’t…
